Team Management

In larger organizations, employee timesheets are sometimes managed by team leaders rather than the organization's main manager.

Feuille de Temps allows you to create multiple teams and assign a person in charge who can review and sign timesheets for their team.

To follow the instructions in this article, you will need access to the manager features.

This feature is part of the Large Teams plan. If your organization employs fewer than 20 people but you still need this feature, contact us.

How to Create a New Team?

Go to the "Teams" page and click on the "Create a New Team" button.

Then, select:

  • a name for the team
  • one or more team leaders
  • one or more team members

How to Add Employees to a Team?

Click on the pencil icon in the "Edit" column, and the team editing window will appear. This window allows you to add or remove members from a team.

How to Change the Person in Charge of a Team?

Click on the pencil icon in the "Edit" column, and the team editing window will appear. This window allows you to add or remove leaders from a team.

How to Delete a Team?

Click on the pencil icon in the "Delete" column, and the team deletion window will appear. This window will allow you to confirm the deletion of the team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a team leader sign their own timesheets?

No. Team leaders have signing rights only for their team members, not for themselves.

Will data be lost when a team is deleted?

No. Deleting a team does not delete the profiles or data of its members.

Why is there already a team with my organization’s name in the list?

This team, automatically created when your account was set up, includes all employees in the organization and allows you, as a manager, to access everyone’s timesheets.

Can someone be part of multiple teams?

Yes. There is no limit to the number of teams a person can be part of. A person can be a leader of one team and a member of one or more other teams if that reflects your organization’s structure.
