Updates

Winter 2025-2026

Hour banks as a percentage of salary

Feuille de temps now allows you to choose a percentage of worked time to calculate vacation time, along with an hourly rate for each period.

This enables accumulating a percentage of your salary as a vacation bank and automatically converting it into available days, while accounting for changes in hourly rates.

This feature is also available for overtime hours.

Different holidays per employee

For organizations operating across multiple provinces and territories, Feuille de temps now allows entering different public holidays for each employee.

Multiple access levels for team managers

Team managers can now have multiple levels of access to their team’s data:

  1. Read-only: view timesheets but cannot modify or countersign them
  2. Signature and review (default mode): modify and countersign timesheets
  3. Full management: modify rules for team members. Similar to manager access, but limited to a specific group.

Design

A slight refresh has been applied to the application to give it a more modern look, without changing its functionality.

January 2025

Rolling overtime hours

It is now possible to configure Feuille de temps to comply with regulations regarding overtime hours expiring after three months.

Paying out hour banks

Feuille de temps now allows entering paid hours for overtime, sick, and vacation hour banks. These hours are automatically deducted from the respective banks.

Comments on hours per project

It is now possible to enter a comment in addition to the number of hours worked on each project.

Custom leave days

Feuille de temps allows selecting a leave type in addition to vacation and sick leave, and assigning a different number of days per person or a uniform number for the entire organization. This feature was called "Family Days" during the testing phase.

Variable schedules

To avoid confusion for people working varying hours each day, it is now possible to hide daily overtime/time-off balances and calculate only the weekly total.

[Test] Clock-in and clock-out times

It is now possible to enter clock-in and clock-out times instead of total worked hours.

October 2024

Performance improvements

Displaying an employee’s timesheets is now 5x faster.

Hour bank update fix

When switching from one employee’s timesheet to another, the previous employee’s hour bank might have remained visible during data loading. Now, a loading indicator will replace the data until it is fully updated, preventing potential confusion.

Clearer display of project hour allocation

For organizations requiring every worked hour to be assigned to a project, we have made several improvements to enhance visibility of this data.

On the timesheet page, the clocks used to fill in hours are now displayed with a color code:

  • Red: not all hours are completed
  • Green: total project hours for the day equal the total worked hours

The total hours assigned to projects is displayed on the last row of the “Projects” column.

The overall project hour completion status for the week is indicated below the week’s dates.

Summer 2024

Hour bank calculation methods

The method for calculating vacation and sick hour banks can vary between organizations.

In some cases, hours are accrued at the beginning of the fiscal year or contract and deducted progressively. In others, hours are accumulated progressively.

Feuille de temps can now be configured to automatically calculate hour banks once your organization’s rules are set.

Archive an employee

Some organizations use email addresses tied to positions rather than individuals (e.g., [email protected]).

When replacing someone using such an address, Feuille de temps now allows linking the address without losing the previous employee’s account data.

This is possible thanks to the “Archive an employee” feature.

It is also important to archive former employees to avoid exceeding the employee limit associated with your plan.

Option to start the week on a different day

When creating a new fiscal year, it is now possible to set weeks to begin on a day other than Monday.

This allows compliance with labor and overtime regulations in certain provinces.
